Job Description:

Exhibits and offers a specialized and enjoyable customer service encounter. Records sales on allocated cash register, delivers clients respectful, just, friendly, and prompt payment assistance.

Roles and Duties:

• Welcomes and supports customers and patients by offering assistance with products and services, addressing any concerns or questions to ensure a pleasant customer engagement.
• Exhibits and disseminates effective customer service strategies to all team members in order to deliver a standout and pleasing customer service encounter, including social skills such as greetings, eye-to-eye contact, respectful behavior, and Walgreens service characteristics such as proactive assistance, recognizing customer requirements, and providing service until customers are content.
• - Offers clients service that is polite, amiable, quick, and effective.
• Guiding clients on preferred merchandise options and advising on potential trade-in or supplementary products.
• Documents customer transactions on the given cash register, handles cash exchanges, and distributes change as required. Handles voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keeps counters and shelves tidy and neatly stocked, oversees inventory management, and records necessary information. Processes merchandise by tagging and pricing as specified by the store manager or instructed by the shift leader.
• Executes strategies to minimize financial losses by implementing asset protection measures.
• Ensures that all stipulations concerning regulated items like alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are complied with based on state and local laws.
• Manages the setup and upkeep of displays, which includes promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale items. Performs resets and modifications as needed.
• Provides assistance in categorizing food items to ensure that raw and pre-cooked foods are segregated and placed according to specified regulations, like storing frozen meats on lower shelves.
• Demonstrates familiarity with store systems and equipment.
• Assists customers with photo-related needs like digital passport photo processing, poster printing using a creative machine, and recommending promotional photo merchandise.
• Takes on the task of overseeing web pickups, monitoring orders within Picture Care Plus, putting together orders by picking items, and delivering orders to customers upon their store visit.
• Plays a role in maintaining the store's neat and orderly appearance by assisting with both interior and exterior upkeep.
• Complies with all corporate policies and guidelines; fosters a harmonious atmosphere with colleagues.
• Carries out specific projects and any other assigned responsibilities.

Training:

• Attends and successfully completes training sessions and PPLs as required by the Manager or designated by the corporate office.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English communication, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking, is crucial
• The position entails a need for availability during weekends and evenings, requiring a flexible schedule
• Prioritizing applicants with six months or more of retail experience.
• It is preferred that candidates have previous employment background at Walgreens.
• Opt for being fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking, other than in Puerto Rico
• The job necessitates a commitment to working a flexible schedule that includes weekends and evenings.
